How to Create a Topic on SAS

Guide for posting scene / non-scene releases, lossless, labels and requests.

Step 1

Go to the Correct Forum

Click Forums at the top of SAS and choose the right genre first, then the right sub-section for your post. Examples:

Example: A new FLAC album for Hands Up goes in Hands Up // Italo // Euro Dance → Lossless.

Step 2

Click “Start New Topic”

Inside the correct sub-forum, click the Start New Topic button (usually top-right) to open the editor.

Step 3

Use a Clear, Standard Title

Please follow common scene / SAS style when naming your topic. Examples:

• [SCENE] Artist_-_Track_Name-(CAT001)-WEB-2025-GRP
• [NON-SCENE] Artist - Album (Year) [Label] [FLAC]
• REQ: Artist - Album (Lossless / FLAC)
• Label Discography: <Label Name> (Scene / Lossless)
• Live Set: DJ Name @ Event (Year)

Always make it clear if it’s a scene or non-scene release in the title.

Step 4

Fill in the Details (Release / Request)

In the main message box, include as much info as possible.

For releases (scene or non-scene):

• Paste the NFO if it’s a scene / non scene release in to the code box in the editor.

For requests:

• Artist and full release name
• Year (if known)
• Format you want (Lossless / FLAC / MP3 / Scene)
• Any extra info (label, catalog, links, etc.)

Step 5

Hide Your Download Link (Padlock Icon)

All download links must be hidden using the hide tags:

• Paste your download link in the editor.
• Select the link with your mouse.
• Click the padlock icon in the editor toolbar (this adds the SAS [hide] tags).
• Your link will now only be visible to members who are allowed to see hidden content.

This is required for all topics that contain download links.

Step 6

Add Tags (Optional but Helpful)

Tags help keep SAS organized and make searching easier. Examples:

• flac, lossless, mp3
• scouse, bounce, hardbass
• dnb, hardcore, gabber
• handsup, italo, eurodance
• house, trance, techno
• label, discography, request, scene, non-scene

Step 7

Submit Your Topic

When everything looks good, click Submit Topic. Your post will go live for the SAS community to browse, download and reply to.

Reminder: Make sure you clearly mark scene / non-scene, include the NFO where possible, and always hide your download links using the padlock (hide tags). Misplaced or low-info topics may be edited, moved or removed by staff to keep SAS clean and usable for everyone.
