Luftrum 34 for Omnisphere 3 is a carefully crafted soundset featuring 128 patches including 18 multis, slow-brewed in the sound lab for months, it is designed to explore a vast sonic landscape while staying true to the signature Luftrum aesthetic.

Each sound is shaped by evocative sound design, with a focus on atmospheric detail, subtle motion, and delicate overtones. Responding naturally to velocity, modwheel and aftertouch, the patches open up, evolve, and breathe as you play – rather than remaining static.

The soundset moves fluidly between ambient and electronic territories, bridging the synth-driven worlds of Vangelis, Rival Consoles and Stranger Things with the hazy, melodic character of artists like Boards of Canada, Jon Hopkins and Röyksopp.

Luftrum 34 is built around fragile and intimate poly synths designed to feel organic and responsive under your fingers. These are joined by a broad selection of ambient and electronic pads, playable textures, melodic sequences and dreamy, cascading arpeggios. The set also includes Quadzone stacked and split-keys, where multiple timbres interact across the keyboard. These are sounds that work just as well in sparse, minimalist compositions as they do in dense, layered arrangements.

Designed to take full advantage of the new sound sources, filters and effects introduced in Omnisphere 3. All presets are organized in official Spectrasonics categories and maintain a few dB of headroom. The set requires Omnisphere 3.0.1c or later and comes with a PDF guide for easy installation.

As a bonus, Luftrum 34 includes an additional set of 42 selected mutations, created using the new Omnisphere 3 Mutation feature. We generated over 600 mutations of Luftrum 34 and distilled them down to the 42 most inspiring sounds. These are included as a separate special set titled Luftrum 34 Mutations.

We have put together a YouTube walkthrough below and there are several demos so you can hear exactly how the patches breathe. All tracks are created using the Omnisphere 3 patches from Luftrum 34.
