I think it's better to record the vocals without reverb and echo. It makes mixing and placement easier during production.

I always try to get the vocal as dry as possible

I ripped it from a candlelight version for best results. It's impossible to get it without reverb when the vocals already have it on them. You could always chop bits and add your own reverb and delay to them.

Sure, it's possible, there are many vst plugins and AI tools, but I would prefer to do it manually to have more control.

it would always leave it sounding bad when cutting the reverb at the end of the words. You'd have to site them messing about for hours.
